Writer

Carole writes creative nonfiction, a literary genre that includes personal essay and memoir. Utilizing it’s many forms- from lyric to concrete essays and visual to decentered-hermitcrab essays - she revels in this highly creative sphere of expression that turns out has been inside her all along.

Carole’s CNF prose poem, The Right of Rescission, was published in January 2025’s Hippocampus Magazine. She’s a finalist for the Vermont Writer’s Prize, the Writer’s Digest 93rd Annual Writing Competition and the 2025 Women on Writing’s Creative Nonfiction competition. Carole is currently writing her memoir with the working title Bittersweet Ascension.
